Hoy por la noche el conjunto coral The New York Choral Society, dirigido por John Daly Goodwin, se presentará a las 20:00 horas en el teatro Juárez de la capital del Estado.

Un breve estracto de la misma: Maestro Goodwin and the singers of the NYCS will arrive in Mexico City after an eight day tour of the Colonial Highlands of Mexico with concerts of American and Mexican music in Oaxaca, San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato. They will be in Mexico City from July 12 to July 19, 2010 for rehearsals and performances of the Mahler “Ressurection,” but they will also have time to enjoy the many cultural and culinary treasures that the historic capitol city of Mexico has to offer. Organized events will include a trip to the spectacular pyramids at Teotihuacán, a visit to the fascinating ÒBlue HouseÓ of Frida Kahlo, and an elegant final dinner in the breathtaking San Angel Inn. The singers are already making plans to spend some of their free time at the world-class Anthropological Museum, the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe, the Diego Rivera murals at the National Palace, and strolling through Chapultepec Park.
