León Balloon Festival 2024 – November 15-18: Tickets, Lineup & More

The 2024 edition of the International Balloon Festival (FIG) in León, Guanajuato, is ready for lift-off and promises to be an unforgettable event. From November 15 to 18, the Metropolitan Park of León will be the stage for a burst of colors and music, gathering 200 hot air balloons from 25 countries, solidifying FIG as one of the largest festivals in the world and the top of its kind in Latin America.

The Governor of Guanajuato, Libia García Muñoz Ledo, highlighted the significance of this event, expecting over 400,000 visitors and an economic impact of 800 million pesos. “As every year, we will gather more than 200 hot air balloons from countries like Germany, Brazil, Turkey, the United States, France, and Switzerland. We invite you to book your tickets on the official International Balloon Festival website,” said García Muñoz Ledo. The state government has invested 29 million pesos in the festival, with a total investment of 10 million dollars.

FIG 2024 will light up not only the skies but also its stages. The musical lineup includes world-renowned artists:

  • November 15: J Balvin
  • November 16: Marshmello
  • November 17: Armin Van Buuren
  • November 18: Julión Álvarez

Access Prices and VIP Experience

Tickets are available in various options:

  • Morning Pass (5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.): From 290 pesos
  • Afternoon Pass (12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.): From 470 pesos
  • Day Pass (all day): From 620 pesos
  • 4-Day Pass: From 1,800 pesos
  • VIP (with exclusive access): From 2,800 pesos

Additionally, for the first time in the festival’s history, opening day will feature a 2-for-1 promotion, according to León’s Mayor, Alejandra Gutiérrez Campos.

ElectroCamp Returns

After a five-year hiatus, the ElectroCamp returns to FIG, offering the chance to camp under the stars. Camping fees range from 1,505 to 5,890 pesos, depending on the number of people. ElectroCamp will allow attendees to enjoy each magical night that FIG has in store.

Innovation and Safety

This year, FIG introduces two new special balloons making their debut in Mexican skies: Escapology, inspired by Robbie Williams’ album, and Captain Caveman from Brazil. Mayor Gutiérrez Campos also emphasized the city’s efforts to ensure the safety of all attendees, with the goal of a safe event for everyone.

With a unique combination of balloons, music, and unforgettable experiences, the 2024 León International Balloon Festival is set to be one of the best editions in its history.
