Authored by researchers María Elena Durán Payán and Ana María Rodríguez Pérez from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, this volume explores Diego Rivera’s artistic evolution, showcasing the variety of styles and creative experimentation that defined his work at different points in his life—both in Mexico and abroad.
Beyond highlighting Rivera’s artistic legacy, the book also examines his relationship with engineer Marte R. Gómez, an influential collector and patron who played a crucial role in supporting Mexican art during the first half of the 20th century. The catalog is structured into six thematic sections, featuring nudes, illustrations, mural studies, and projects connected to Anahuacalli.
